Barbara: Was your Jacob married to Christine Barbara...?
If so, did Valentine Kern marry Elizabeth Smoots? They would have had a son Samuel Berzilla Karn who married Elizabeth Fairchild and one of their children was Edwin Berzilla who ran away from home at the age of 12 when his father was hurt and the family boarded Edwin out. Edwin married Cahterine Naftzger and gave birth to my grandmother Marion Karn.
