Subject: Dog tag website

Hi all! A message, via the the message boards, has been circulating some of
these list about the dog tags website of American GIs during Vietnam. First,
this site does appear to be legitimate, (www.founddogtags.com), but I wanted to
let everyone know that cities in Vietnam are notorious for selling things that
supposedly belonged to American GI's. These guys with the website are not
selling anything, and I personally like what they are trying to do, but just be
warned that most of them, if not all, are probably fakes. I think some may be
real as some of the tags were returned to living GI's and they verified it was
theirs....so they're either really good fakes or some real ones mixed in with
the fakes. I am not trying to discourage anyone from visiting the site, but
just want to give a heads up that they most likely aren't real.
