KERN, Don
Died Monday, March 8 at the age of 79. He was born July 29, 1924 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He served as a church of Christ minister for 54 years, the last 22 years for the Parkway Church of Christ in Sacramento. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Myrle, 4 children, their spouses, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. "I have fought the good fight. I am
finishing the course. I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." (I Tim. 4: 7,8). A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 13th at the Parkway Church of Christ at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Parkway Church of Christ, 5511
