My family is from Ohio. Mostly around Hancock county. Jacob Kern had a daughter Rosina. She had three brothers named Jacob, Henrich, and Valentine, also one sister Charlotta. They came from Maryland and were in Maryland in the early 1700's. Valentine is my G-G-G-Grandfather. I don't know whether our relatives connect or not but I have a feeling, when and the fact that they did come to Ohio they must have had a reason such as family. Most of them settled fairly close to each other. If you find there might be a connection let me know and I will be glad to assist in any way that I can.
