I, too, am looking for a William KERNS born circa 1840 to the Rev. John
KERNS & wife Edna/Edney (nee' SMITH) KERNS. My William had sisters Caroline
(who married Elisha West SINEX sr) and they are my great great grandparents;
Mary H., and Margaret (although on one census record it looked like
Margarita or Marietta, really hard to read but I stuck with Margaret until
proven otherwise). According to the obituary of the Rev John KERNS he &
Edna were the parents of 6 children although I have not yet found the other
2. I have a picture of the Rev John KERNS on my website along with his
obituary and memorium.
