I'm searching for any available information on James Kern, born in Lindley, NY in 1839. I have no idea who his parents were, but I know that his father immigrated to America from England. He married Amelia Shurtz of Michigan in Michigan in 1865, and stayed in Michigan for most of the rest of his life. His son changed hisname to Curn, which is probably why I am having so much trouble finding any info, but if any of you have anything positive to tell me, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!!
