I am also sister of carolyn kern. i have the birthcertificate of our mom. her moms last name was spelled gruebiner. she was emma o. gruebiner kern she was married to edward w. kern, sr. they were from michigan but kern her moms family came from berlin germany but can't figure out why her last name on my moms birthcertificate we can't trace it anywhere spelled like i showed you thanks for any help suzy
