Hi all! Just wanted to let everyone know of 2 terrific sites for IL
research, some may already know of these, but for others, this may be
completely new information:

Pape Funeral Home http://www.papefuneral.com
This site has TONS of death info for folks who died or are buried in
Vermilion County, IL, especially the town of Danville. I found info
on my HUPP/HUBB line here.

IL State Archives
http://www.sos.state.il.us/departments/archives/archives.html
Follow the link for "Genealogical Research" and from there follow the
link for "Databases" at the top of the page (underneath the picture
of the man's face) to see all the databases they have online! TONS
of info: military records, marriage records, death records, land
records, servitude and emancipation records, and tons of IRAD
holdings. I just recently found tons of information on my COVENTRY
and HUPP ancestors in IL as well as WILDER, WORTHEY and others. For
death and marriage (and maybe others), they give certificate number
as well as names, dates, and locations.

Good luck!
