Looking for any info on Simon Moses Kern, lived in Ala. and married Rachael Elizabeth Bates. I understand he and his brother were sent to the States by their mother to avoid the Kyser's army draft. He was a peddler. He named a daughter Laduska Idola Kern, and I wonder if that wasn't his mother's name back in Germany. Any help would be appreciated. Pat
