I am also looking for an Alma Kern Rogers who died about 1933. My Alma's parents were Conrad Kern and Alice Jeannette McClure of Wayne County, Illinois.

Alma's mother, Alice, was born in 1860 and died in 1946. She was the daughter of Richard McClure and Richard's first wife, Sara Jane Campbell, both of whom are buried in Laird Cemetery in Wayne County, Illinois.

I am interested in Alice's father, Richard McClure, concerning his ancestry. He was my gggrandfather with his second wife, Delilah Boon, being my gggrandmother.

IF you go to the Rootsweb site for "ilwayne" you will find an obituary for Alma's mother, Alice McClure Kern.

Are we talking about the same person? It appears we are.
