Looking for help in locating information on Porter Kern b.1837 in Pa and his wife Mary Mathias b. 1847 in Ohio. Their children were William P., Desta Gertrude, Ray, and Minerva. Ray was said to not have been raised by them but instead grew up on a farm in Putnam County. Do not know the reason unable to locate so far any record of the others. Ray Kern b. March 1878, married Eva Baker b.Oct. 2, 1879, they were married in 1899. She was the daughter of Leander A. Baker and Martha Matilda Braman and was born in Belmore, Ohio. Both Ray and Eva Kern are buried in North Baltimore, Maplewood Cemetery. Eva had at least two sisters I know of Hattie and Gertrude "Gert". Ray Kern died in December of 1951 in Findlay, Ohio and Eva Kern died in Mansfield, Ohio in February 1966. Would appreciate any help in locating information on these family members.
