My ggrandfather did not leave much information, only thing I know is he was born in germany, sometime around 1868? Came to the u s when he was 17. His first name was Sebastian and he was a ironworker and helped built the famous flat iron building in new york. He later bought a little farm in union n.j. where he died around 1937. My grandfather was Harry Kern his son.
