My George Kern, b. 1843 Germany, came to America with parents, William Kern, b 1817 Germany and Mary Elizabeth, b 2-23-1811, d 10-1-1874, bur. Kern Cemetery, Oregon Twp. Clark County, Indiana in 1852.. George Kern m. Mary Schafer, d, 1903, bur. Kern Cemetery, Oregon Twp. Clark County, Indiana. They had a son, William H. Kern, b 1865 d 1865, bur. in the Kern Cemetery. After his wife death George moved to Richland, Iowa to live with his son, George Edward Kern and wife Laura Mae Hixon, and is bur. Highland Cemetery, Richland, Iowa. They had a daughter named Mildred. Any connections?
