My aunt Louise Kern was born in Salisbury IL around 1910 +/- She was the daughter of Jacob Kern and Annemarie ne:Boesdorfer Kern. Jacob was born in Salisbury the son of Nicholas E. and Christine ne:Fuchs Kern. They were both born in Baden Germany in 1830. This is as far as I have gotten so far.
