Since we are a nation that is called the great melting pot, you pose an interesting question. My ggfather & gfather was kern. But, not really my ggfather was from India came to this country a free man, married back east and then they moved south, he was taken into slavery because of the color of his skin, not his nationality. And the woman he married was Chactow Indian. My gfather a free man, married a half Indian woman the other half black. What am I ? Proud to have this rich heritage. I'm truly blessed, for it is on their strong shoulders I stand.
