Hello Cousin:
My great grandfather was Lawrence KERN of Fayette County, IL. Lawrence was an only child of Lewis and Malinda COOK
( this couple was married October 24, 1884 in Fayette County). Lawrence was born January 01, 1887. I remember my great grandfather like it was yesterday (he died in 1966). Lawrence and Maude BENEFIEL had twelve children.

My cousin Larry Bearden has done a lot of good research with the KERNs but did a poor job recording sources. I'm presently working to verify his work. Christhop KERN married Elizabeth MEYER in St. Clair County, IL. They lived around Highland, IL.

If you like contact me and I'll share my findings as they are confirmed.
