My grandfather's name was either Harry or John Kern. I know he was from Chicago and worked for the railroad. He served in WWI , so I am thinking he was born around 1890. He later moved to Springfield, Mass. Do you know that names of the descendents of John Kern born in 1850's from Illinois?

I am really grasping at straws here!
