It has come to my attention that folks have been receiving
attachments that look as if they come from the list. Please know
that rootsweb does not allow attachments on their lists. If someone
sends a message to the list with an attachment, it will not be sent.
Therefore, if you recieve a message with one that looks like it's
from a rootsweb list, it is not and is most likely a virus. Do not
open the attachments unless you have talked to the person and they
have verified they sent it to you. Some people unknowningly become
infected with a virus and the virus will go into their email and send
messages to various people who they've emailed in the past and use
subject lines they've used before.
