Melissa, I have seen the book. My Mother-in-law has one. I tried to get a copy & wrote to the monastery listed on the inside cover. When I received the papers, it was not what I wanted & actually didn't spend much time with it.
"The LIBRARY", St. Mary's Seminary & University of Baltimore, Maryland sent copies of several pages from a book that was earmarked " FOR ENTIRE KUNKEL GENEALOGY, SEE SR. GENEVIEVE KUNKEL, SSND, COLLEGE OF NOTRE DAME OF MARYLAND". A note says,"Sister Genevieve still listed at......" , but that was Dec. 1989.
John N. KUNKEL 1831-1910 and Mary R. KUNKEL 1839-1906 Actually, the only thing you may be interested in is the part that is confusing to me..... On a half circle graph,
starts with Mary Rosina KERCHNER 1839- 1906, Michael A. KERCHNER 1804-1857 and ANNA M. KERN 1806-1870, then
John D. KERN 1781-1826 and Margaret VAETH 1780-1820. On the KUNKEL & KERCHNER side it goes back two more generations. WHO IS JOHN D.KERN ?? Is the D. for DOMINIC?? Anyhow... It is fun trying to find answers and just ask more ????'s Deborah
P. S. Next time I'll write to your e-mail.
