Hi Deborah,

No the book isn't "in print" or anything like that. But you can find it on microfilm on the LDS Family History Library. It's film number 896835, Item 4. There are 141 pages to the book. I think the letters between the family members in Germany and America are the most facinating.

I am also decended from Dominic and Regina. I am decended from Josephine who married Simeon Montgomery in a big double wedding with her brother Charles on August 8, 1870. Josephine was my GG Grandmother.

In the book, it doesn't trace Regina's ancestory. But I've traced back another 3 generations on her family. Also I've traced back Dominic's parents, where the book starts. I also have all the brothers and sisters in each family. I'd be glad to share all my information with you if you're interested.

What monastery did you write to? What information did they send you? I have found all the birth, marriage and death records on film for Freudenberg, Baden, Germany and it's been fairly easy to trace the family. There are several films for the town and they are facinating.

Thanks for writing. I'd love to hear more from you. Feel free to email me at
