My great-grandmother was Ida May Kern, born 1860 in Moultrie Co., Ill.
That is all I know about her origins, except that her mother was born in
Indiana and her father in Pennsylvania.
She married Oliver Plumb and they had 13 (count 'em!) children

10 ix. Rose F. Plumb, born April 1894 in IA. She married ? Lloyd.
11 x. Margaret R. Plumb, born April 1896 in IA.
12 xi. Olive M. Plumb, born November 1898 in IA.
13 xii. Robert B. Plumb, born Abt. 1900 in IA.
+14 xiii. Lottie Leona Plumb, born February 19, 1903 in Bruce, Brookings
