I found a book at the library "The History of Winnebago Co." (Wisconsin)
This is some of the information and I'll gladly share the rest, but it
is a long bio. Email me if you would like the complete bio.
ANDREW A KERN born in 1844(42) is the son of Bernard and Applolonia(WENDEL)
natives of Bavaria, Germany. After Bernards marriage they immigrate to
US and locate in the Mohawk Valley, NY and farm until 1847. Than move to
Milwaukee, WI and farm; 1852 are farming in Germantown, Washington Co.,
WI. Bernard and Appolonia have 7 children: JOHN, farmer in Dodge Co.WI,
ELIZABETH wife of Gottleib KESTNER, MARY died in 1877, MARGARET wife of
Jacob REGULA, Summit, Waukesha Co, WI, GEORGE married in Jefferson Co,
WI, CARLINE wife of John RAUBER, Sullivan, Jefferson CO, WI and ANDREW
A. Andrew joined the Civil war, marries twice, moves to Appleton, WI and
lives and dies in Kaukauna, WI.
