My name is Eileen Kern Goodman. PA>VA>MD>VA. This is my family lineage.
Maybe someone on the Kern mailing list may benefit from this. If anyone
can go back beyond Jacob or knows of his birth date, please contact me
at my email address. Also, if anyone can help complete the death dates
or if there is a mistake anywhere to be found, please feel free to contact
me. My lineage goes back to Jacob Kern who landed in Philadelphia, Pen.
9-30-1754 from Holland. The original family settled in Penn. between the
dates 1727-1776. This original family loaned money-200,000,000.00 for a
term of 99 years to the government of Holland.
*Jacob had 6 sons and 2 daughters.

****Charles Luther b. 2-22-1883 d. heart attack-8-20-1933. Born and raised
in Frederick County, Virginia-Contractor and builder. Owned his own business.
Played trumpet in band/orchestra for fun. Passed this silver trumpet to
son who passed it to daughter Eileen. Married Ada Elizabeth Weaver 12-18-1905.
She was born 9-29-1882 d. 5-30-1970. Her family dates back to Virginnia
before the Rev. war and is a direct descendent to Daniel Morgan. Couple
moved to Baltimore, MD shortly after marriage. Had 4 sons.
Elmer died in infancy with pnuemonia
Olen Luther died as a very small child with streptococus
'Peachie' named for doctor, died with brain tumor at 16 years of age.
*****Wilbur Leonard b 1-11-1919 Baltimore, MD. Moved as young boy to Winchester,
VA original home of parents. Married Gloria Kathryn Graff from NJ 12-17-1950.
Had three daughters.
