Hello,
My Kern family descends from New York, at least this is where it "ends"
for my research.
Andreas Kern was born 16/Dec/1842 in Mohawk Valley, NY his parents are
listed as Bernard Kern and Appelmia Wendell of Bavaria.

Andreas married Matilda Joanna Minkler and they had three children (I
think) Frank Andrew born 1880 in Kaukauna, WI, Martha and Helena I have
no information on.

Frank marries Eleanor Loope and they have two children, one daughter
that is my grandmother.

Would anyone have ties with these names?
I am also interested to know if anyone has had luck with Birth records
in NY prior to 1845?
