Surname: KERN, ZEIK

I am a descendant of a KERN family that also lived in Stillwater, MN -
but not the same family. In my research I have noticed at least one or
two others besides my own in Stillwater. My KERNs were Christian KERN,
b. ca 1833 somewhere in Prussia, married to Caroline ZEIK, they immigrated
1869 with sons Friedrich (my gg'grandfather, b. 1853), Christian2, Gustav,
and John (Johan?). One more son, Emil, born in MN. Friedrich and Gustav
ran a shoe store in Stillwater. Part of the family also lived in Sauk Rapids,
Stearns County, MN.
Could our two families be related? No evidence yet, but who knows? Can
you be more specific about what kind of info you are trying to find? I
live in St. Paul, MN, BTW. Maybe we could collaborate. What do you have?
