Hi Tawny, Greetings from your cousin. Your dad is my mom's
( Doris )brother. I think I met you when you were very young. Anyhow, since
I gave the information to your dad, I have found some more. In regards
to your message on this board, Ella's given name was Sephrona Ellisaff
DeVinney Kern
b. 7 Sep 1862 Preble, Ohio d. 1956
Her parents were, Henry Lanier DeVinney b. 4 Apr 1835 Ohio d. Apr 1898
buried New Buffalo, MI and Hannah Melvina b. 10 Aug 1833 Ohio d. 27 Nov
1917 New Buffalo, MI They were md
24 Oct 1861 in Ohio Valentine and Ella were md
Aug 1885 at New Buffalo, MI Valentine was b. 22 May 1861 at
Bellevue, Ohio
Berry. Valentine's parents were Benewell Kern and Recbecka
( this is how I found it spelled ) Shellhart. If you want more than this
feel free to let me know. I also have a copy of the book you mention. It
is not a book you can find in a store. It has been written by one of our
ancestors. I showed it to your dad when we went to visit him and MaryAnn
about 3 years ago. Anyhow it's good to e-mail a family member. Yvonne
