I am looking to find information on the ancestors of the Kern and Schwalbe
families. Any information or corrections to my data would be greatly appreciated.

My paternal grandmother was Ella Hellen Kern (aka Ella Hellen Marie Hagemeier).
Otto and Mary Hagemeier were a German Lutheran family that spoke only German,
as Andrew and Augusta did as well. Augusta apparently never learned to
speak English, Andrew spoke both German and English from what I can gather
from my source documents (census and
others).
