On Wednesday, December 13, 1961, Charles E. Kern of Washington,D.C., father
of Charles E. Kern Jr, Susan R. French, Gary W. Kern, Linda M. Kern, brother
of Harry Kern and Mrs. Roy Boyce, both of Winchester, VA. Friends may call
at Gawler's Chapel, 1756 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, (courtesy parking opposite),
where services will be held on Tuesday, December 19 at 2 p.m. Interment
Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Charles E. Kern of Washington died Dec 13. Survivors include his widow,
Elizabeth Mills Kern; two sons, Charles E. Kern, Jr. and Gary W. Kern;
two daughters, Susan R. French and Linda M. Kern; a brother, Harry Kern
of this
city and a sister, Mrs. Roy Boyce, also of this city. The funeral service
will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Gawler Funeral Home, 1756 Pennsylvania
Ave., Washington. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
