Hey listers!

This is the other possible surname for Anna Marie Kern Strohmeyer Hein's
mother. On her marriage certificate it is written "Rathfurz or Rothfurz" as
I stated before. Does this name make more sense or is it a real name and can
it possibly be found in Simmersfeld or the surrounding area?

..."November 12, 1882, Mr. Hein married Anna Marie (Kern) Stromaer, who was
born in Wurtemburg, Germany,(Simmersfeld) daughter of John Michael and
Barbara (Roulfoose) Kern. She had previously married George Stromaer, who
died, and they had four children, namely: Catherine, who lives with her
mother; Sarah, Mrs. M. (should be "N" for Nye) Litherland, of Brunswick,
Neb., and two died in infancy. Mr. Hein and wife had children as follows:
Fred, who is engaged in the coal business in Mt. Carmel, Ill.; Marie, Mrs.
Ernest Shepard, of Mt. Carmel, and Cora, Mrs. John Shepard, of Mt. Carmel.
Mr. Hein and his family belong to the Evangelical Church and are active in
its work. He is ready to advance the interests of any good cause, both by
personal effort and in a financial way. He is a Democrat in politics and
actively interested in the welfare of his county and State...
