>From Berks Co, PA - Joseph KERN, d. March 20,1880 and Sarah SWAVLEY KERN
d. 1867. They lived there until 1831 before moving to Ohio. A child Hiram
KERN was born Oct.19,1828 in PA. Hiram married Louisa LENTZ in Perry Co.
Ohio in 1858. Their children were Margaret Catherine KERN, Adaline KERN,
Clara Iceline KERN, Mary Elizabeth KERN, and Henry Sherdin KERN. A
biographical sketch of Hiram KERN from the History of Morrow County (Ohio)
states that Sarah SWAVLEY KERN was a niece of Daniel Boone. (?) Clara
Iceline KERN married John WREN in Springfield, Ohio. John was one of the
founders of the WREN's Department Store. Any info would be appreciated. Thank
