Hello Everybody,
These were my G-grandparents and my G-g-grandparents--all born in Bavaria:

Frederick KERN b.21 Jan 1830 in "Landau, Bhear, Bavaria".
His parents were Jacob KERN and Marie JOACHIM. (I do not know what the
Bhear means--)

Margaret MAIER b.May 1853 in Kups, Bavaria. Her parents were Matthew MAIER
and Veronica BILLHORN.

This was Frederick's second marriage (I'm looking for the first wife) and
the couple lived in New York City.

Does this information sound familiar to anyone??
