We are trying to find out any information about Mary A. Kern. She might have
had a brother or two and one of those brothers possibly had a shoe factory
in Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, ILL. Mary's mother might have died on the trip
from Germany(?) and she and her father came to Wabash Co. when she was about
13 years old.

Mary A. KERN married George STROHMEIER and had two girls, Sarah Freida
Strohmeier (b.18 Jan 1875, Wabash Co, IL, d.28 Jan 1938, Houston, TX,
married Nye LITHERLAND, 18 Sept 1894) and Kate Strohmeier. After George
Strohmeier died she married Fred HEIN and had three more children, Marie
Hein, Cora Hein and Fred Hein, Jr.

Any information would be helpful!
