Hi Warren, i would suggest that since you say you have census access but
just can't find them, that you go to my geocities homepage and on that
first page, right under the amazon search box, there are 2 paragraphs
that have the "NEW" button. On the 2nd one, I would go to that link and
scroll down to the census CD's. You will see the year listed and what
states they cover. Find one that you have acess to but can't find them,
and email one of the people doing lookups for that CD. Be sure to give
them as much info as possible (maybe forward you post and a little more
info and exactly what and who you are looking for), and maybe they can
find the person. If they do find the person, they will give you all the
info listed (it's just the census index so it's basically just the page
on the census) and then you can take that and look at the census
microfilm and find them. Also, I'm not sure which name you look for
when you search, but from what I've see, Kern was often misspelled so
look for anything that sounds like it. Just as an example, a fellow
Foxworthy researcher for the family listed as Coxwieathen (how they got
that, I have no clue!) Good luck and also, if you have any census info
(or find any), please send it to me so I can put it on the homepage:)
