Sorry, I don't have any info on a George Kerns. Sandra, I'm looking for
Carnes also. My grandmother changed the spelling of her husbands name from
Carnes to Kerns, she didn't like the way they spelled their name.lol

I've also seen it spelled Cearnes/Carns. All of mine seem to be in WV, but
I've heard rumors that they also owned land in Ohio, but haven't traced that
out yet.
