Frederick William Kern - 1900 Fed Census lists Frederick W. KERN, age
47, born in NY state, with a 1900 address of 2449 17th Street, San
Francisco. He lived there with his wife, Emma, age 45; born in
California, and their children, Rose, age 20; Herbert, age 18; Albert,
age 14; and Rueben, age 9, all born in California. Also in residence,
in 1900, one servant, un-named.

Edward Wesley Kern - 1900 Fed Census shows Edward W. KERN, age 44, born
in NY, living at 51 Hampshire Street, San Francisco with his wife,
Matilda, age 31 and their children, Orilla, age 16, born in NY and
Milton, age 15, born in California. Also in residence is Matilda's
sister, Lily, age 34, born in NY. We can surmise from the birthdates of
the children, therefore, that they move to San Francisco between July
1883 and February of 19, 1885. Edwards DOB: 17 February 1856,
Rochester, Monroe Co, NY

Charles Julius Kern - 1900 Census shows Charles J KERN, living with
Margaret, KERN, his mother. She was born in Germany and was 67 at the
time of the Census, He was born in NY. 1900 Fed Census shows their
residence to be 3883 18th St San Francisco. Charles KERNs DOB: 14 May
1863, Rochester, NY
