Regarding your Silas KERNS, I believe I may have some info on him in my notes
& cemetery records from Buchanan Co. & Clinton Co., MO. Also, was your Ailey
Cairlin JAMES, a relation to Jesse JAMES? I come across many JAMES families
while researching my own KERNS lines (2) in these areas of MO. My KERNS lines
were originally from Russell Co.,KY & I seem to remember a Rev. Silas KERNS on
marriage record info. I will be happy to check my notes if you think there
may be a connection.
