My earliest known Kern was my ggg grandfather, Phillip Jacob Kern, b.
1734 in Bavaria, Germany d. May 20, 1799 in York County, PA. I also
credit Jill Orr with giving me information about him. My cousins, Mary
Zollman and Jill Orr have already posted about him and there is very
little that I can add. I am descended through his son Jacob and his wife
Susanna Spielman through their son, Edward Spielman Kern and his wife,
Mary Allen Demaree of Switzerland Co.,IN.
