Judy,

I believe that I can help you. My information states that Susannah (not
Sarah) Kern, the daughter of Joseph R. Kern of Adams Co., Illinois and his
wife Elizabeth Smith, married Jeremiah Leach on October 07, 1855 in Houston
Twp., Adams Co., Illinois. I show daughter Emma Leach who died in Missouri
married a Sloueker. Emma had siblings: Joseph, Mary E., Jacob N., George,
and Charles.

Joseph's parents were John Kern and Catherine Kaylor from Westmoreland Co.,
Pennsylvania.

John's father was (Phillip) Jacob Kern and wife Catherine Funck of York
Co., Pennsylvania.

I have alot more, if you would e-mail me off-list. I am VERY interested in
your line of descent from Emma.
