their known children were:
Adam KERN (b 1785 d 1863 in Waterford, VA) never married
David KERM (b 1787 Waterford, VA; d 1868 Carroll Co., OH)
m. 1st - Elizabeth SMITH (b unknown; d 1815 where unknown)
their children were:
Absalom KERN (b 1812, VA; d 1880 Carroll Co., OH
m. Sarah Ann BEST (b PA; d OH)
Margaret KERN (b 1814, VA; d unknown0
m. Mr. LOHR
[NOTE - we have good data on descendants of Absalom Kern
who resided in OH - no data on descendants of Margaret Kern.
m. 2nd - Jane CUNARD (b 1780, PA; d 1865 OH)
their children were:
Sarah KERN
Adam KERN
George Washington KERB
Barbara KERN
Levi KERN
Simeon KERN
Henry KERN
John KERN
(have some data on this branch)

NOTE: Family name changed to KARNS in Ohio soon after they moved there
in early 1800s to receive a land grant.
