From a list of German immigrants from the Palatine is listed Abraham
Kern- 28- ship Britannia from Rotterdam- docked at Philadelphia on Sept.
21, 1731. Wife, Catherine Kern, Elizabeth Kern- 55 (mother), Ulrich
Wilhelm Kern- 16.

From the book, "Descendants of Adam Kern":
Children of Abraham and Catherine Kern:
William- 16 when he came to America
Jacob - Only son who remained in York Co., PA
Henry - followed Adam to Virginia
Adam - went to Frederick Co., Virginia
Michael
George
Also there were three daughters, Elizabeth, Mary, and one unnamed.

I believe that the son Jacob who remained in York Co., PA was my ggg
grandfather but I have been unable to find proof that he was the same
Jacob Kern who was the father of my gg grandfather, Jacob, who was born
in York, PA April 7, 1770 and who married Susannah Spielman and moved
to Switzerland Co., IN.

If anyone has information about this family I would like to hear from
you.
