My great grandfather was John Martin Kerns born Dec. 25, 1855 in DeKalb Co.,
Missouri and died Aug. 22, 1924 Atchinson, Atchinson Co., Kansas he married
Rosetta Wilson about 1875. Their children were Alonzo Kerns, Lillie Kerns,
Charles Edward Kerns, Tyrone Kerns, Lucy D. Kerns, Willie Kerns and Louise
Kerns. John Martin Kerns father was Silas Kerns/Kernes born is Kentucky and
his mother was Ailey Carlin James. John Martin Kerns was suppose to have rode
with the James Gang and his mother Ailey also called Alice or Caroline was
suppose to be a cousin to the James brothers. Does anyone know of this family
please email me.
