I am showing the 2 generations that I have any knowledge of on my KERNS line
being - Descendants of Rev. John Kernes

I also have a copy of an old manual typed manuscript entitled "KARNES
FAMILY" of NORTH CAROLINA and INDIANA (Spelled Kern, Kearnes, Karnes, Carn
and Carnes) compiled by Mrs. Thomas (Mildred) Skelley of New Albany, Indiana
1967-1968 and will be happy to do short-type look-ups.

Generation No. 1

1. REV. JOHN1 KERNES was born 1809 in Kentucky. He married EDNA SMITH
October 21, 1830 in Jefferson County, Indiana. Marriage performed by John
T. Johnson and recorded November 10, 1830.

Children of REV. KERNES and EDNA SMITH are:
2.i.CAROLINE2 KERNES/KERNS, b. March 24, 1833; d. October 20, 1903, New
Albany, Floyd County, Indiana.

2. CAROLINE2 KERNES/KERNS (REV. JOHN1 KERNES) was born March 24, 1833, and
died October 20, 1903 in New Albany, Floyd County, Indiana. She married
ELISHA WEST SINEX , SR. June 1, 1852 in Floyd County, Indiana, son of THOMAS
SINEX and FLORA WEST.
