Subject: KERNS, Ann (Mahala Ann?)

Seeking information on Ann (possibly Mahala Ann) Kerns. She is probably a
daughter of Adam Kerns (b. 1766, VA) although this is not confirmed. Adam
and his family, including Ann, lived in Russell Co., KY and then moved to NW
Missouri around 1840-50. Ann is thought to have had at least four children
in Kentucky but was never married. The children are James Nathan, Abraham,
Mary Ann, and Noah. Noah and James are buried at the Antle Cemetery in
Buchanan Co., MO, Mary Ann married a Gregory and moved to Clinton, MO.,
Abraham lived in DeKalb area and then moved to Oklahoma around 1900.

Mahala and Noah Kerns bought land in DeKalb Co., MO from Adam Kerns (probably
Ann's brother) in 1847 when I assume they moved to Missouri from Kentucky.
