Just a reminder message for anyone on the BEERS, GODFREY, KERN, MONROE,
RICHMOND, SPICER, STEARNS or TINGLEY surnames lists which I manage on the
RootsWeb server.

Messages for the list go to one address, commands, e.g. unsubscribe to a
different address, and messages to me specifically go to an entirely
different address! A lot of our newer members have been sending their
messages to the command list. When that happens the server at RootsWeb
forwards the message to me because it doesn't recognize the command. Then
I have to waste time trying to figure out what is happening.

The following examples show how to properly address messages for commands,
inquiries to the list, and messages to me. All you need to change is
change the word "surname" to the proper name for the list you are concerned
with.

Commands go to:

Messages go to:
(<-- note the word request is gone)

Messages to me go to:

I appreciate your help in this matter. This is becoming a serious problem
as a lot of messages are coming to me instead of to the lists in general.
