recognizes them!

The oldest information I have is from the 1880 N.Y. census. The family lived
at West 37th Street in New York City. Frederick was a cabinet maker.

Frederick Kern (b 1828 in Germany) married Margaret Mayer (b 1847 in Germany)
1. Bertha Kern b 1859 in N.Y.
2. Annie Kern b 1861 in N.Y.
3. Frederick Kern b 1863 in N.Y.
4. Cora Kern b 1872 in N.Y.
5. Henry Kern b 1873 in N.Y.
6. Adam William Kern b 22 March 1875 in N.Y. (my Grandfather)
7. Lizzie Kern b 1877 in N.Y.
8. Christina Kern b 1879 in N.Y.
We believe the original Frederick had a wife prior to Margaret and I'm VERY
interested to find her! Although research has been difficult on these folks,
I am thrilled to have found "live" cousins I never knew I had (descending
from the above Lizzie). So I'm convinced there are others out there......and
I'd love to know more about any of them!
