Welcome to the month of October, 1997. Certainly seems that this year has
been going by way too fast.

If you are subscribed to more than one list that I manage you are getting
this message once for each list. Sorry for the repeats, but it's just an
easier way for me to do things.

I am trying to serve two purposes with this message. First, I want to make
sure you all realize this list is still around since none of these lists I
manage is very active.

Second, I want offer some reminders. Keep in mind that the lists are
currently set up so that you have to be a subscriber to submit a message to
the list. If you refer someone to the list remind them that they need to
subscribe or contact me before they try to send a message to the list.

As I mentioned above, none of these lists is very active so don't be
worried when you don't get mail daily, or even weekly from the lists to
which you are subscribed.

Although I haven't been real active lately I'd still like to see some more
research on these lists. So, how about everything think about the person
you're having the most trouble with, on one of these lists and sending out
a query for data. I'll see what I can come up with in my own searching to
get it started in the next few days.

That's enough for the time being. I hope everyone is having success this
year in their genealogical searching. Take care, post often, best wishes
