NOTE- I apologize if you get this twice. I originally sent this on 3/7/97
but I have not seen it on any of the lists yet. So, I'm sending it again
to make sure everyone gets it. --->

Welcome to the month of March, 1997.

From the news reports it appears that many of us are being greeted by a
real blast of rotten weather and flooding problems. Best of everything to
anyone affected by the conditions.

A short message to let you know that I am making some serious revisions to
the welcome messages for these lists. These are due to some major changes
that Larry Stephens had to make to the Maiser server system which handles
these lists.

I hope to have the new welcome message ready sometime this weekend.
Because of the changes, I will be forwarding it to each of the surname
lists I manage. It will be several pages in length, but should not be so
large that you have a problem with it.

So, when you see a message with a subject line to the effect of "New
Welcome Message" do me and everyone a favor and print this off and keep it
somewhere.
