SEEKING ANY INFORMATION I CAN GET OR GIVE

John Jacob Kern said to have held a position in the government of the Netherlands. His birth, death, parents and spouse unknown, sent his three sons to America in 1739
Fredrick 1711-1739, died at sea.
Nicholas 1717-?
Christopher 1728-?

Nicholas arrived at the Port of Philadelphia America 1739, settled in New Jersey, married 1746
spouse? and had several children whose names and dates I am seeking. Nicholas and family
moved to Dingmans Ferry Pennsylvania in 1766. With the outbreak of the American Revolution in
or around 1790 this family split up, some going to California others to Canada. At that time who
was the family of Nicholas comprised of ? and where did they go?

Christopher married Katie Swackhammer and went to Canada with some of his family, arriving in 1796.
