Hello Everyone:

Just for clarification: The note I sent about how to get archived messages
was in response to a question from a new subscriber. Because I deemed it to
be of general interest, I sent a copy to all subscribers on the 8 surname
lists I manage.

I DO NOT need anyone to send ME all the messages which have been archived on
the mail lists. I am aware of how to get them if I need them, plus with
very few exceptions, all list mail is on my hard drive or archive diskettes.

I don't want to be a grinch or spoil the good experience I hope everyone is
having on these lists, but please think about what you are doing before you
do it. I get several hundred mail messages a day, and don't need more,
specially when I really don't need it.
