Christmas is Fast approaching. I hope all of you have told Santa, or his
substitute, what you need for your genealogy present this year.

Just a couple of quick comments.

First, just to reemphasize, the digest function on the maiser surname lists
has been turned off at the server. There are apparently still large
problems with the program Larry Stephens uses, and it has problems with
digests. So, until you hear differently do not use the digest mode on any
of your lists on the maiser server.

Larry has been doing some work with the maiser server and you may have seen
some strange error messages, etc., the past few days. Any time you get some
type of wierd error message, wait about 24 hours before you do anything.
Some of the errors would make you think your message has been rejected but
that isn't true, the message has been accepted and you'll probably see the
message the next time you read your mail. (At least it seems to be working
that way with my messages.)
